Rehearsals and Performances
A Fairy's Tale rehearsals will tentatively run from April 27, 2023-June 3, 2023 for certain roles and August 12, 2023-September 14, 2023 for all roles and performances will tentatively run from September 14, 2023-September 24, 2023.
Conduct Requirements
Dancers and their parent(s)/guardian are considered part of the Ballet Wichita community and are expected to conduct themselves in a way that positively embodies the mission and vision of Ballet Wichita. Social media posts should be used to encourage and not in any way disparage members of the company, staff, or community. Dancers and their parent(s)/guardian are role models of Ballet Wichita, executing etiquette, respect and good sportsmanship. Ballet Wichita will not tolerate any bullying. If bullying of other dancers is discovered, the perpetrator risks losing their role in this and future productions.
Costumes
Dancers will be required to purchase their own shoes, tights, leotards and makeup for rehearsals and performances. Dancers are expected, and agree by signing this commitment form, to follow all hair, makeup and costume directions issued by the Artistic Director. Failure to follow directions could negatively impact your participation in this and future productions with Ballet Wichita.
All dancers and their parent(s)/guardian have read and fully understand the responsibilities of a Ballet Wichita participant. To remain a participant, the dancer and their parent(s)/guardian will follow the guidelines set forth in the Letter of Commitment, Dancer Agreement, Policies and Regulations Handbook, Exculpatory Agreement and Tobacco Policy.
This form must be completed and submitted to Ballet Wichita by Sunday, April 23, 2023.
