zipper pouch 2.0 closed bag

zipper pouch 2.0 open bag

Isn’t this Cube Pouch adorable?  It’s quite easy IF you have already taken the 1st zipper class OR Beginner Sewing OR already know how to sew.

Come learn how to make this darling pouch.  Be warned though, it’s addictive and you will want to make more.

Skills you will learn or build on is putting in a zipper, making bias tape and applying it, and using fusible interfacing.

Supply List for  4″ by 4″ by 4″ cube pouch:

1 12″ zipper

1/2 Yard each of 2 fabrics:  one for outside and one for lining.  I recommend quilting cotton which is typically 45″ wide.  Fat quarters are a great choice.

1/4 yard of quilting cotton to make bias tape.  Again Fat quarters are a great choice.

1/2 yard of midweight fusible interfacing:  I recommend Pellon SF 10 shapeflex

Thread to match

NOTE:  feel free to grab extra zippers as if time permits you can make a 2nd Cube with leftover fabric.
